About The Teacher
Shannon Gowland grew up on a sustainable working farm and was blessed to have family all around. She spent a lot of her childhood with her great-grandparents and grand-parents who taught her to respect nature, plants and their many uses, and how to farm. She is an entrepreneur, herbalist, and advocate for Whole Health. She is a veteran of conventional healthcare for over 15 years, and 12 years ago she added Herbal Fusion and Seeds of Wellness to her repertoire. Building on her knowledge passed down through generations in Native American Plant and Earth Medicine she has had formal training in traditional medicine, chemistry, biology, biodynamic farming, Qigong, and Yoga.
Shannon is owner and operator of Roswell Farmers Market, Seeds of Wellness, and S.O.W. Institute. A unique healing experience offering local, organic, biodynamic CSA, pastured meats, organic food therapy bio-individual meals, and herbal therapy. Seeds of Wellness is her Herbal Clinic that has been open for over 12 years and recently expanded to include the S.O.W. Institute. Her goal is to help and guide others to live a healthy fulfilled life and find new ways to reduce carbon footprint, reduce, reuse, repurpose, and recycle.
