About The Teacher

Dr. Rachana Patni Pereira is Organisational and Leadership Consultant with over 15 years of experience working with a diverse range of clients focussing on excellence and wellbeing at work. She works fluidly and at a deep level weaving strands from therapeutic, and consulting practises, to create her very own engagement style with leaders and organisations. She is able to work across-cultures seamlessly and effectively.

Dr. Patni conducts one-to-one and group retreats focusing on emotional capacities and leadership. She works with a deep commitment to create bespoke and exclusive retreats which are narrative-somatic in their orientation.

Most recently, Rachana has facilitated a team development intensive for the Retail Leaders for Ikea Shanghai, an extremely high performing team. Actual time saving practices were crystallised for each participant leading to a direct positive impact. She had also been contracted by Aperian Global to design their self-awareness for agility module and this was rolled out in a car-manufacturing firm in their entire Asia-Pacific region and received excellent feedback for a VUCA context. She is the youngest consultant to have worked in the transformational leadership programmes by a highly respected and niche consultancy in the UK. She works through The Matrix of Enquiry and Lightwork Retreats to create opportunities for growth and learning in the organisational and individual matrices.

Dr. Patni is known for the professionalism, integrity and for having nurtured a firm grasp on a wide range of skills and deep knowledge about working with people, groups, and organisations. Dr. Patni is a qualitative researcher and draws from a range of ideas in crafting her interventions, which value authenticity and ontological grounding. She has been positively called courageous and fearless in her work.

Dr. Patni has a PhD in Management Studies (Brunel Business School), higher degrees from The London School of Economics and The Tata Institute of Social Sciences, undergraduate degree from Lady Shri Ram College and is an alumna of Mayo College Girls’School.

Dr. Patni enjoys reading, silence, laughter and being connected to nature. She loves motorcycles and compensates for her lack of motor skills by being a highly experienced pillion rider!
