Michael VanNortwick

Michael began his healing journey in 2009 when an autoimmune condition left him unable to pursue his passions or goals in life. Suffering from severe chronic pain throughout his body, he set out in search for understanding and healing. This journey led him to study many different healing modalities addressing the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of human health and well being.

In 2011, Michael underwent a vasectomy surgery that resulted in a common but tragic complication known as, "Post Vasectomy Pain Syndrome." The doctors could find no physical explanation for his pain and only offered surgical or pharmaceutical interventions as possible solutions.Unsatisfied with these options, Michael lived with this debilitating testicular pain for six years while searching for a solution.

In 2017 Michael sat with Kambo for the first time and experienced profound healing from just one session,

After his first Kambo session the testicular pain that had been present for six years vanished in a matter of days. Although his pain would eventually return and require a longer healing process, the dramatic and profound effect of just one Kambo session left a lasting impression. From there, Michael began a journey of study and research to understand his experience and learn as much as he could about the medicine of Kambo and other Amazonian healing traditions.

In 2021, Michael traveled to the Amazon Jungle to study with Kambo Naturista, an organization dedicated to training Kambo Practitioners. This gave Michael a wide range of perspectives and insights about this powerful medicine, During his training in the jungle, Michael completed an Eight Day Kambo Dieta where he learned how to harvest the medicine, deepening his relationship with the spirit of Kambo and providing him with a profound understanding of the energetics behind this unique healing modality.

Later that year, Michael completed an online Kambo training for existing practioners with Frog Medicine known as Kambo. This second training focused on the biochemical aspects of Kambo, the Integration of Kambo and Chinese Medicine. As well as the treatment of autoimmune disease and chronic lyme disease.

Since 2021, Michael has been living in the Sacred Valley of Peru where he continues his study of ancestral healing traditions and serves Kambo to the local International Community that live here and travel through.
