Patrick Valdivia Quio is a photographer, translator, activist, and environmental engineer who has played an integral role in the development of Arkana from the ground up. Instrumental in the securing of the Arkana land concession with the government of Huanuco, no one knows better this land and surrounding Arkana and Santuario and is becoming an authority of its unique geography and potential.

Patrick has worked with many local organizations including the German Corporation and is a prolific photographer. He is active in the local arts community where he regularly participates in arts activism groups such as Atak Cultural that hold exhibitions and performances in different areas of Pucallpa. He also in active in the growth of the New Amazonian Film School where he regularly assists in different local productions with photography and translation. His latest project, Mapacho, a film about the Pucallpino transgender community, will be screening in Lima this August!
