About The Teacher
Lia, E-RYT 200
Lia immersed herself in the world of well-being and mindfulness over decade ago, when she had a moment of clarity and realized that her hectic desk-job life was unfulfilling and adversely affecting her body-mind well-being.
She has been developing a deep and profoundly powerful personal practice of yoga, breath work and meditation; and that fundamentally changed the way she live her life. Through her practices, she found her way back to herself. With this newfound passion, Lia made the life changing decision to leave her old career and study Yoga and meditation. Since then, it is a continuing study up till now; and she has been sharing her knowledge, experience, and practices with people that cross her path.
She is currently teaching regular classes and teacher training in Bali for Hatha and Yin Yoga. Apart from teaching in the studio, she's been working with addiction rehab centre to aid their clients to regain their will-power towards recovery through yoga, breathing and meditation practices.
Her approach towards teaching and learning mindful practices is simply direct and practical for anyone who is willing and enable themselves to implement the practices into their lives. She has a genuine unique understanding to combine the Eastern philosophy and Western mind for a strong and lasting transformation in one’s mindful practices.
