About The Teacher

I found yoga (the real kind not just the gym kind) ten years ago whilst I was volunteering at an orphanage in Bali. Wow. It was a complete awakening, Like seeing the world properly for the first time. I got a tattoo of Ganesh on my neck and things have never been the same. After a short career in publishing I decided to follow my passion and did a Jivamukti teacher training. After that I embarked on a year apprenticeship to perfect the style under the infamous Cat Alip-Douglas. I started teaching at yoga studios in London and began to teach on retreats. I then did an 18 month yoga therapy diploma designed to tailor yoga to suit the needs of individuals whatever they are going through at that time. I have been teaching 1:1s and group classes in London ever since as well as hosting my own yoga retreats in Sri Lanka! I have also added to my toolkit with courses in yoga nidra, breathing, thai yoga massage, and EFT.
