About The Teacher

Ram Vakklanka is an internationally known Nada Yogi, Yoga philosopher, Kirtan artist and Sanskrit expert, often described as ‘a blessing to the global Yoga Community’. Ram was born and brought up in India, steeped in Yogic tradition. He studied Sanskrit and ancient texts such as the Upanishads, BhagavadGita and Yoga Sutras from a very young age. Nada Yoga came into his life through a study of the Sitar, later joined by Ayurveda and Vedic Astrology.

Ram travels across the world, sharing his deep and authentic knowledge of the Yoga philosophy as well as Vedic sciences such as Astrology and Ayurveda. So far, his discography includes 23 CDs in three languages, an online video course about the origin and evolution of Yoga and a DVD. His writings have been published in print as well as online.

Ram's teaching style is marked by simplicity, authenticity, relevance to modern times and humor.
