About The Teacher
Carole Poche considers herself a "student of the horse" has been helping people find their own self-actualization with horses for more than 30 years in Canada, the US and Europe. Carole holds a Masters degree in Equestrian Education and Educational Administration and Leadership, an Animal Science - Western Horsemanship diploma, her Riding Master from Meredith Manor in West Virginia in Dressage and Jumping, as well as her Competition Coach Specialist Western and English from Equine Canada. Her greatest passion lies in finding "flow" in the unison of horses and riders, achieving a deep communication and lightness through timing, feel and rhythm. Carole's focus on "super learning for riders" utilizing 70 beat music to help achieve deeper, transfer learning with a growth mind set in a short period of time. We address goal setting and spend time laying out a personalized plan for each person, predominantly for adult women who know what they want.
The program is ideal for women that have fear, stiffness, struggles mentally or physically, but wish to find self-actualization and life-style re-design and get back isync with the passions they may have had to put aside due to family and work. Each person is treated as an individual, some will only do ground work and may paint or sketch horses and others will ride, at their own rate and can also receive rider level certification with Equine Canada.
Photography sessions with our horses in costume with a medieval focus, swimming, hot-tub, massage, wine pairing and tasting are all part of our retreats at The Equine Artisan Escape in Viking, Alberta, Canada. Bring your friends and book a group, come away refreshed, with a plan for your future!
