About The Teacher
Patrycja has a masters degree in psychology, specialising in evolutionary psychology, and two post graduate degrees; one from the Queen Mary university in London in Mental Health therapies and one from the Kings College university in London in Mindfulness and Neuroscience.
She has many years of experience in various aspects of the mental health system, ranging from work in psychiatric, drug & addiction, neurology and rehabilitation wards to working with patients with autism but also with their parents and caretakers, as a complex needs coordinator, providing supervision and reflective practices for mental health workers, training managers of large cooperations, working as a therapist for private clients and much more.
The last two years she has dedicated her career to working with psychedelic states and its potential to help people with mental issues.
When MAPS came to Europe to train therapists for the European part of their MDMA for PTSD trial Patrycja was fortunate to be invited to follow this training which gave her the opportunity to improve her skills with the training of the Michael and Annie Mithoefer and meet with her peers in Europe.
Patrycja is continuously developing herself, through literature and self work but also by participating in many relevant workshops, seminars and conferences and she is currently in training to become a Hakomi Mindfulness based somatic therapist and is following the (amazing) mind-body therapy training by Embodied Philosophy.
