About The Teacher

I’d love to tell you I found yoga after a corporate life, or at the end of a long search for stress-relief and balance, but the truth is that yoga found me when I was 11 years old. I wandered into a studio down my street and have been down-doggin’ since. At 17 I signed up for my first teacher training at Santa Monica Yoga where I was introduced to my beloved Ashtanga Yoga. At Sarah Lawrence College, I found ballet and modern dance. With confidence to choreograph and create, vinyasa started flowing through me, and we’ve been quite a pair since. Over the past few years I have been refining my teaching style under the guidance of Chad Dennis, Jenn Perry and Cat Aquaviva of ROAM Yoga, Abbie Galvin of The Studio (which is a Katonah Yoga studio), Noah Maze of YogaMaze, and Kathryn Budig. My style of vinyasa class organizes the anatomy and the breath-led movement toward a peak pose through sequencing that builds and expands. Each class I offer includes hands-on adjustments (with your permission), breathwork and meditation.

Your practice holds up a mirror and asks you to look inward. Take a peek.
