About The Teacher

Sare Slater is a creative mindful mover that draws inspiration from different disciplines. Her practice gracefully blends yoga, pilates, functional movement, and athletic training. She began her Yoga journey back in 2011 after returning from a 6 week backpacking trip in Brazil where she fell in love with community culture, and having a deeper sense of connection to the world.

Her classes tend to focus on functional, dynamic movement with a huge emphasis on deepening the connection to self, breath, and community all while igniting curiosity and fun through fluid flows. She has a serious zest for life, and is best described as a sensation seeker. Being able to feel the beauty of life’s emotion, and the Ebbs and flow of the human experience is one of the reasons that keeps Sare inspired as a teacher, and most importantly as a student.

Sare’s philosophy as a teacher is to always maintain a “student first” mentality and to never stop playing and learning. In October of 2019, she will have completed over 800 hrs of training in various disciplines, and is working towards one day becoming a certified Yoga Therapist where she can continue to help others, hold space, and connect deeply with those recovering from addiction and mental illness through mindful movement, breath work, and self care rituals.
