About The Teacher
Michael Gregory is the Director of Mindfulness Meditation Centers. He has thousands of meditation classes and retreats on almost every subject matter related to Dharma across the United States for the last 25 years. In addition to leading meditative pilgrimages and long terms retreats throughout Thailand, Tibet, Bhutan, Nepal, and India.
Michael was ordained as a monk in the Thai Forest tradition, the Burmese Mahasi tradition, and then was ordained in the Tibetan tradition by H.E. Gylatsab Rinpoche at Rumtek monastery in Sikkim. He has practiced in the Thai Forest tradition of Ajahn Chah, the Anapanasati tradition of Buddhadassa Bhikku, and the Jhana traditions of Mahasi Sayadaw and Pa Auk, as well as extensive experience in the Tibetan tradition, including the completion of 3 year silent retreat.
Michael is appreciated for his direct and powerful teachings style that are focused on every being empowering themselves by awakening the pure and unlimited nature of mind. Michael’s teachings emphasize non duality in everyday life as the compassionate path to liberation. Michael currently teaches classes and retreats online and in person to thousands of students across the world, whose lives have been profoundly transformed by these teachings.
