About The Teacher

Ananda Michael Coffman has loved playing the silver flute since age 10. He brings the concert, alto and bass flutes to kirtan and meditation events. Guiding groups into meditation, he has played extensively as a soloist with Amma (Amritanandamayi), Adyashanti and Ramesh Balsekar. Kirtan collaborators have included Adam Bauer, Dave Stringer and Girish. Ananda played gorgeous Celtic melodies, often with harp accompaniment, in New England for several years. He continues the longstanding career of Hospice RN. He is passionate about barefoot improv dancing, and lives in Sebastopol, California.
