Why study with them?
Gede is a passionate surfer, professional surf coach, artist, surfboard shaper and healer from Seminyak, Bali. He is a man with a heart of gold that radiates an aura of peace and happiness. His smile lights up the room and is infectious as it is genuine. At a young age he already knew he was destined for a life of surfing and helping people, he just didn’t quite know how it all would come together.
His love of surfing and spirituality gave him enough confidence to follow his heart and live a life dedicated to surfing and yoga. On his journey Gede met his spiritual leader and has been studying yoga, energy healing and meditation techniques with him ever since. Being certified as an energy healing therapist from the Foundation Yama Citra Indonesia, he hopes to help anyone he can by sharing his knowledge and healing.
He loves the ocean, mountains, environment, life and creating pieces of art. His keen sense for originality and beauty is evident through out his life. His hand shaped surfboards and abstract paintings all express his unique style and vision of life. He has surfed for over 30 years, been a surf instructor at top surf schools for over 20 years and has been successfully running his own surf school for the past 8 years. His knowledge of the surf in Bali is second to none. Gede has touched the hearts of many people with his sense of humor and openheartedness. He hopes to continue living this blessed life bringing Balinese culture and surfing to his guests.
