Adele Caemmerer

After coming to the Guild as a staffer in 1987, Adele met and married Mike, Guild founders, Richard and Liz Caemmerer’s son. Adele and Mike ventured overseas to teach in international schools. Along with their two daughters, they travelled between Asia and America, spending many summers in Plain with the Guild community. Alongside teaching art, Adele trained and continues to work as a spiritual director. She is now living in Plain, pursuing her art, teaching, leading retreats, practicing as an Internal Family Systems practitioner, and volunteering with the Grunewald Guild. She is also active in the local arts scene through exhibitions and arts advocacy. Adele incorporates her passion for art and spiritual practice in her visual explorations of daily life.
