Joel and his partner Mary were more than outstanding facilitators. Their heartfelt compassion combined with the very helpful teachings and execises towards surrender into the experience were simply the high point of my life and i am 68 by now. This was the best frame and method for the experience and i can only deeply recommend Joel to anyone using the medicine.

Joel's enthusiasm is infectious. Whenever I get down, I picture him with a big smile on his face. His retreat is extraordinary. It will change your life and set you on a new exciting path of unconditional love for those you in your life and beyond. Highly recommended most highly!

Just came back from a retreat in Tepoztlan, Mexico with Joel Brierre and his wife Mary, where we had two 5-MeO-DMT ceremonies. It was one of the most positive experiences of my life (I’m 63 years old). They’ve created the most reassuring, caring, knowledgeable, beautiful container to facilitate complete surrender with this medicine. It was all I had hoped for and soooo much more. Joel is extremely experienced and I felt total trust in him. It was my first time taking this substance and I don’t have a whole lot of experience with psychedelics, so I was extremely nervous and hesitant for many weeks prior, but the moment I got to their place, met them and the group, I started to relax and my anxiety became manageable. We had lots of pre-and post-ceremony integration sessions and he taught us very helpful breathing exercises. And, of course, group sharing also before and after. Mary, who is also a death doula, is gorgeous inside and outside. Her loving, sweet presence went a long way in putting everyone at ease and her interest and smart commentaries on each person’s personal difficulties were invaluable help. Their place is absolutely gorgeous. It’s surrounded by very tall, majestic stone mountains. Weather always sunny and temperature perfect. The meals, taken at the outdoor covered porch with the great view of the mountains, cooked fresh daily at their place by a local cook, was amazing. I often find mexican food on the heavy side in the US, but she managed to create much lighter versions of the typical dishes. Healthy food - great, tasty, vegetarian. Freshly squeezed fruit juices with every meal! I could go on and on, but very much want people to read this and don’t want it to seem too long. I’m forever grateful to Joel and Mary. Don’t know if I’ll go back in the future, but just knowing that this is available to me if I ever need it again is invaluable.
