Much of my childhood and adolescence I lived by the sea, in an environment that invited you to be in contact with nature. I loved going jogging at sunset on Ritoque beach; I also loved apnea sport diving, I was a diver for several years, I traveled a large part of northern Chile looking for beaches, to enjoy the depths of the sea.
At the age of 17 I went to live in Venezuela where I studied theater and graduated as an actress.
At the age of 21 I returned to Chile and due to life circumstances, I began to dedicate myself to horses, I studied Agriculture and I was a horseback riding guide for almost 3 years in the Andes Mountains.
In one of those long rides, several hours on horseback, crossing the mountains, practicing YOGA came to mind. The idea was left spinning… feeling a deep need to do it. Returning to Santiago, I started looking for the place; my mom looking at a magazine, finds a tiny ad with the phone number and address of a yoga school in Santiago and that's where it all begins.
I came to YOGASHALA in 2001.
I took my first yoga class with the teacher Valeria Schneider and I loved it, since that day I never stopped practicing.
In 2005, while I was waiting for my next internship, I found out that there were students training to be teachers. And that is when I decided to take the teacher training course, in 2006.
I went to study the Iyengar method today Axis the course lasted 2 years, when I finished it I continued studying the Sattva yoga method and Dynamic yoga all created by my teacher Gustavo Ponce.
Since 2012 I have been giving teacher training courses, the first 4 years I trained teachers in Axis Yoga (Iyengar Yoga). And today I dedicate myself one hundred percent to teaching the Sattva Yoga method.
Since 2001 I have been immersed in the path of practicing, studying and teaching yoga.
I have accompanied my teacher Gustavo Ponce to give classes and courses in Brazil and Spain.
I have given several workshops and courses on Canal Om.
Currently in 2021 I continue to give training for future teachers in the Sattva Yoga method. In addition to teaching online, outdoor classes today have become my passion, I look for places that can be combined with trekking and yoga; nature and yoga. There is a lot of natural environment that renews and energizes you and even more so if you do yoga in those places.
Daily practice constantly takes me into my interior, my essence.
