About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Neyva Yoga is built on the foundation of cultivating and often combining yoga, nature and art as a therapy. Before becoming a full time yoga instructor, Aminath Hasna of @neyva.yoga worked in the field of Art & Design. She did her Yoga teacher training in Ashtanga and Hatha yoga in India and later got certified in Yin Yoga.
In 2019 she ran a yoga studio with Island Beach House - a boutique guesthouse in Hulhumale’ - where she got the opportunity to teach multidisciplinary artists seeking yoga as a way to release the long-term effects of using their bodies repeatedly in certain postures.
Through her practice she explores how yoga combined with art can be used as a healing and creative practice.
