Why study with them?
Bhaskar is one of the finest young maestros of Indian classical music on bansuri. He was born in a musical family from the city of Prayagraj, a pilgrimage place situated at the confluence of three sacred rivers.
He received his initial training from his father, Pandit Gopal Das, one of the pioneers of Indian classical music on the clarinet. Bhaskar’s talent has won awards in numerous music competitions and he is also the recipient of a national scholarship offered by the Indian Government, which enabled him to obtain a Master’s degree from the Banaras Hindu University with distinction.
Bhaskar is impaneled at the Indian Council of Cultural Relations and he has presented his music in concerts nationally and internationally in countries such as Switzerland, France, Italy, Holland, Germany, Romania, United Kingdom, Spain, and Slovenia, Dubai, Thailand, and South Africa.
He had the great privilege of performing for a diplomatic event in front of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and King Philippe of Belgium. He currently lives in Mumbai, the city of cinematography, where he explores the essence of the traditional system of classical music in modern projects.
