Tom Perrine

About The Teacher

Tom Perrine, President of the Board of Directors at the Osage Forest of Peace, a Viet Nam era Army veteran, holds Bachelor and Master’s (A.B.T.) degrees from Kent State University. Mr. Perrine’s career encompassed work in organizational training, development, and communications. Tom is a practicing Mahayana Buddhist and is the English Sangha leader at the Tam Bao Buddhist Temple in Tulsa, Oklahoma. An ordained Zen Priest in the Furnace Mountain Lineage (Korean, Seon), Tom is frequently called upon to speak on Buddhism to educational, professional, and civic groups, providing classroom instruction for programs in the Tulsa area. He has also served on the boards of The Cherokee Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Casa Hispana, and Academic Interests and Mentoring Society in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
