About The Teacher

Filippo defines himself as a curious “movement researcher”. Movement has always been a central interest in his life. This brought him to approach the human motion from different points of view. Besides his first passion for Martial Arts he got a master degree in Physical Education. He’s been working in fitness studio as Personal Trainer, collaborated with doctors and physiotherapists, became a physical actor and dancer and last but not least is teaching and developing the Axis Syllabus.

He doesn’t believe in strict methodologies. We can learn and we should be open to the experience of many. Training, art and expression, physical and mental development, are the same thing, completing and integrating with each other to deliver general and basic ideas to his students, in order to create a functional body in a structural and neurological way. He would always invite his students to get as much as they can from his knowledge, then looking for other teachers and coming back to him to share and confront their own insight. The research never ends and passing to others the information he got until now is the best way to review, elaborate and evolve them.
