Kelly has been a student forever. Teaching yoga for 11 years - practicing for 13. She believe in cycles. The number seven. Gratitudes. Allowing others to influence her has been paramount as a teacher and student in the yoga studio and in her life. She loves to lead but is happy to follow. She has learned that most things in life are for the purpose of learning to fill the proverbial bucket with wisdom if we choose - if we allow. She is doing her best to say YES YES YES to life's golden opportunities to fill her bucket! She is grateful for all her named and un-named teachers. A Thank You to Rochelle Schieck for being such a salient leader on her life's path! Forever and beyond!
Teaching Qoya has been mostly about gathering in community. It's been an amazing part of my journey to witness what happens to women whilst in circle. It's incredible. There's a sacred portal right at the tips of our fingertips when women come into circle, and to be able to lead such a gathering and be witness to the unfolding - it truly is an honor. It is really a gift to be able to create literal and metaphoric space for women to have their own individual experiences as a community. That's the best part. The feeling is indescribable!
