Andrea, a self-described "yoga-mutt," took her first yoga class in college and became a serious student of multiple yoga styles in the mid-90's. A dedicated teacher, Andrea finds bliss in sharing yoga and is inspired by everyone she meets on her yogic path. Andrea’s classes reflect her passion for yoga and her authentic, warm and light-hearted spirit. Her compassionate teaching style is greatly influenced by her primary teachers - David Williams, Erich Schiffmann, Doug Keller, Sarah Powers, and Paul and Suzee Grilley. She considers herself a lifetime learner and continually seeks teachers with an eye on the true path inward. Andrea teaches a diverse range of classes: Ashtanga/Core Strength Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Insight Meditation. She loves taking yoga on the road - leading international retreats and playing with yoga on Stand Up Paddleboards. Andrea owns and operates mind|body|fitness yoga in Greensboro, NC. Her studio is focused on making yoga accessible and inclusive. The studio has a long standing commitment to supporting the hungry and homeless in the greater Greensboro area by offering free community flow and meditation classes - as well as organizing quarterly and emergency food drives to support local food banks.
