Heart of gold
A truly rare find, she holds space with a pure heart and a level of compassion that feels both deeply grounding and transformative. She is the definition of a perfect therapist— authentic, gentle care that is impossible to teach.

Incompetent & Unprofessional
Unfortunately, I did not experience a professional or trusting space with Mimmi. She did not demonstrate or exercise a "duty of care" for me as a participant, especially given this was a certified Breathwork course. Under Mimmi's instruction and guidance, I didn't feel I was in a safe space as I felt she was immersed in her own personal experience and journey most of the time (as if she was being assessed rather than conducting herself as the assessor, independently). I observed Mimmi constantly looking to the other assessors for confirmation and prompting. I did not experience any confidence in Mimmi, as a Breathwork facilitator.

These observations became clear upon reflection. Some of many examples, I directly experienced are I outlined below.

1. I had difficulty following and understanding Mimmi's instruction during Breathwork exercises, getting confused and not sure what she required or meant, I just couldn't follow the inconsistent instruction. In contrast, I didn't have difficulty when the other assessors gave instruction (one of which could barely talk due to a respiratory condition/coughing).

2. I expressed to Mimmi in private on a break, that I was feeling unwell as the 2nd day unfolded and she advised it could be my throat chakra opening as a result of the breathwork. I then approached another assessor who then administered some Lemon Balm drops to assist me. Unfortunately, I proceeded to become very unwell by the evening.

3. All participants of this course were asked to attend a public Breathwork Session that evening, for retreat guests, as part of our assessment. I explained to all 3 assessors that I was only able to observe due to feeling unwell affecting my ability to hold space for the retreat guests. I assisted on the door and was instructed to hand out the cards for guests that stated whether they wanted assistance/touch during the Breathwork Session - The guests were never reminded, or further instructed by Mimmi the Breathwork facilitator (or the other facilitators that were present, to be fair), about these cards, prior to the session commencing.

4. I observed 4 guests leave the Breathwork Session early, clearly displaying confusion with the instruction given during the session (I was aware that 2 of the guests that left were very experienced Yoga Instructors). As the guests where lying on the floor, not executing the Breathwork instructions and looking at the ceiling, Mimmi did not seem to notice nor attend to these people and at times was dancing in the middle of the Breathwork class, eyes closed, saying "good, good, good" unaware of the guests situation.

5. Personally, I grew terribly unwell during the Breathwork Session, I eventually lay down in the session to get some relief. Mimmi came over to me, I thought to check if I was ok? I said I was so sick, I better go and then Mimmi directed me to change position on the floor and tucked me into a blanket and left? Upon seeing this, another course participant saw my discomfort and administered Reiki whilst we waited for the class to end.

I ended up leaving the next morning not completing the Breathwork course, due to illness.

I am trusting this constructive feedback from my personal experience may assist Mimmi and encourage her to gain more experience for her future facilitations.
