Angela Blueskies is a musician, sound healer, songkeeper, and medicine woman who carries deep understanding of the healing powers of music and the Earth. A lifelong musician, she received her training as a classical flutist at the prestigious Peabody Institute in Baltimore, MD. In her performing career, she began to long for a deeper sense of connection and presence with her audiences. It was while travelling in South America that Angela first encountered traditions that worked with songs and music for healing and transformation. Deeply influenced by sacred ceremonies in Peru and the traditions of bhakti yoga and kirtan, she began to create original music that was a fusion of these traditions, with an intention of bringing people into meditation, ecstatic states, and profound connection with Spirit. She has shared her music in concert halls, churches, schools, yoga studios, temples, in nature, and in sacred ceremony across four continents. She is an enthusiastic teacher and facilitator, and enjoys empowering people in connecting with themselves, their gifts, and their own inner wisdom.
Angela’s debut album, Songs of Spirit, was released in January 2014. Since that time, Angela has enjoyed travelling extensively through North and South America to share her music. Angela and her partner currently divide their time between the greater Washington, DC area and the Sacred Valley of Peru.
