Marc Rosner
About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Marc has been leading circles in schools (and out) for two decades and has provided training, coaching, and consulting to support thousands of educators to integrate circles and restorative practices into their classrooms and schools. He also has over three decades of experience as a lawyer and mediator helping schools, families, organizations, businesses, and individuals resolve conflicts, repair harms, and restore relationships.
Marc held multiple leadership positions at The Ojai Foundation, and serves currently as President of the Board of Directors of Topa Institute and a member of the Trainer Mentoring Circle, which oversees certification of facilitators and trainers in the Way of Council tradition. Prior to starting Circle Learning Institute, he was the Director of Council In Schools and Circle Ways.
Marc holds degrees in English and Economics from Stanford University, a law degree from the University of California College of Law San Francisco, certification as a mediator from the Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution at the University of Pepperdine School of Law, certification as a Way of Council trainer, and certification as a restorative justice facilitator. Marc is married and has two adult daughters.
