      Beyond words...

Living in Pisac I had the opportunity to join Don Jose Campos in a special 6 days retreat last week, organized by Lea Ronen, located in the Big Temple of Diego Palma. We were 25 participants, a colorful group: people from all over the world, all different ages and background, coming together to do this sacred work. Most of us were more or less experienced, only 2 people did an ayahuasca ceremony for the first time. But with Aya you are always a beginner... She never ceases to surprise. We did three ceremonies, with one day of integration in between, where we could share our experiences and ask questions. Don Jose is a big presence. He is confident, cheerful and direct. He made it clear to us gringo's what a privilege it is to be able to drink this sacred medicine. Generations before natives died in the quest to keep this tradition alive. I feel grateful and blessed to be initiated in the worlds of Ayahuasca as one of the first of my culture. She is truly a blessing, a great teacher, a bringer of love, truth, freedom and healing. She lifts the veils between life and death, between present and past. She makes it possible to time travel and heal the past. She makes it possible to communicate with the dead and console their worries and fears. Todos es possible. Gracias, gracias, gracias...
