Wendell Beavers

Wendell Beavers, dancer, choreographer, teacher, founding faculty and chair of Naropa University’s MFA Theater: Contemporary Performance Program (2004-2020) and Tisch School of The Arts Experimental Theater Wing (ETW) at New York University(1978-2003). Currently co-directs SomaticPerformer-MovementArts with Erika Berland, writes and performs his poetry within an evolving form of Embodied Poetics.
