Anita Wood

Anita Wood is a spiritual director, who received her M. Ed. from Boston College and a Doctor of Ministry degree at Lancaster Theological Seminary. Her major project was on Teilhard de Chardin. Anita has had successive careers in teaching, religious education administration, retreat leadership, and spiritual direction. She is currently teaching in the spiritual director formation program with the Murphy Spirituality Center of Fairfield University. Prior to this, Anita was on the staff of the Jesuit Center for Spiritual Growth in Wernersville, PA, offering spiritual direction and retreats. Anita has used her doctoral work centered on Teilhard de Chardin to create a contemplative dialogue process for small group spiritual growth, using Teilhard's content and evolutionary principles. She is married and semi-retired in Wernersville, PA.
