Zac Ispa-Landa
About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Zac is a Dharma teacher, father, beekeeper, and university lecturer. He draws on his experience with Buddhism and earth-based practices to help us connect with the wisdom of the more-than-human world. His teaching invites us to open to the awakened essence of our own minds so that we can be agents of compassion for ourselves and our communities.
He is a co-founder of the Burlington Dharma Collective and teaches at the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies, Bhumisparsha, Inward Bound Mindfulness, and elsewhere. At the University of Vermont, he teaches courses on ecology, honey bee culture, environmental justice, mindfulness, and sustainability.
Zac lives in Vermont with his partner, son, and tens of thousands of honey bees.
