About The Teacher

As a high school Science teacher, I bring basic anatomy into each class and always invite students to be lifelong learners fostering curiosity and interest about how our bodies move.  I hold a 500 hour yoga alliance certification and now enjoy having the opportunity to teach others how to teach yoga as one of the lead instructors of the 200 hour certification program at Shanti Yoga.  Join me for any of my weekly classes at the beautiful Shanti Yoga Studio in Nelson, B.C.  My Power Vinyasa and Vinyasa classes are a dynamic flow integrating breathing techniques, alignment, and core work, with exciting and creative sequencing.  My Yin classes are blissful and rejuvenating. Expect to see dynamic sequences, alignment based adjustments, and beautiful themes woven into each class to invite you in deeper to your practice.
