Patrick Harrington was attracted to the practice of yoga because of the unparalleled opportunity for individual and group transformation. "Seeing the look on a student’s face when they have just dropped into a deep Savasana is moving. I feel it is my highest service to our culture; the facilitation of letting go and opening up." Patrick started taking yoga classes in 1990 at CU, Boulder. In 2001 he attended his first Yoga Teacher Training in Hollywood, California with Bikram Choudry. This intense 9 week session proved to Patrick that he had only just scratched the surface of what Yoga offers people. "The physical body becomes a highly tuned vehicle for the mind and soul. I have become more peaceful,clearer and willing." Since then he has studied with many gifted teachers from many different lineages including John Friend/Anusara, Ana Forrest/Forrest Yoga, Madhuri Martin, Desi and Micah Springer, Regina Zwilling, Maria Patella, Amy Ippoliti and more. Patrick continues to refine his offerings and has taught many different styles including Kind Hot, Bikram, Vital Roots, Vinyasa, Anusara, Restorative and Basics. His main teaching expression is in the realm of alignment-based Vinyasa classes with a fun music soundtrack and challenging flow sequencing.
