About us

When I teach, I give my students the confidence to get deep into poses and the opportunity to open their hearts while finding some peace on their mat. My challenging slow flow classes, taught to contemporary music, are alignment-based, playful and woven with humor and Buddhist mindfulness. My teaching style is a hybrid of yoga types influenced by Elena Brower, Deb Neubauer, Daniel Orlansky, Kevan Gale and the Venerable Khenpo Lama Migmar Testen. In addition to practicing yoga, I work as a non-profit fundraising and event planning consultant and am on the same path as my students: balancing work, family and play while being present and seeking the calm between the tranquility and the storm of connecting with my body and mind!

Wisdom is knowing I am nothing,
Love is knowing I am everything,
and between the two my life moves.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

After participating in more yoga classes and events this year than in my entire life, I am yearning for the opportunity to attend a professional retreat. The opportunity to grow my practice, learn from talented students and teachers, and immerse myself in this gorgeous Red Feather Lakes sanctuary is the dream of a lifetime! Sara
