About The Teacher

My name is Timea Vitez I was born in Budapest on April 7, 1975 Budapest is my residence but I live abroad for several months a year. Years ago I had a serious car accident and I was prescribed a number of pharmaceutical drugs as part of my rehabilitation therapy. I refused the therapy because of the dangerous side effects involved. This decision led me to discover Yoga.

I became very interested after a friend lent me a book on Yoga… just a simple book which contained illustrations and explanations. I connected with Yoga at this particular moment of my life and felt that I had stumbled onto something great and sound. From the very early days I longed to attend a Yoga teacher training course in India. Yoga was like a hand from above. A hand which filled each day ever after. A hand that gave me the strength and self-confidence of which I needed.

It not only affected me mentally and physically but it completely changed my approach to life. I am a new person.
Today, YOGA IS MY LIFE! For many years in fact, I have spent most of my time studying Asana and Philosophy from Hatha Yoga and its secrets in the origins of Yoga, which date back to thousands of years – and now I want to teach you and pass on the knowledge of yoga.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

This sounds like a dream! I am an education student and I have spent way too much time working all summer to pay for school. My boyfriend of 5 years is a government firefighter and has been away working most of the summer. His 30th Birthday and our 6th anniversary is coming up this winter, we would love to celebrate with a yoga retreat! We both love yoga but have barley had time to practice in the past few months. Keeping our fingers crossed! Jaimee and Dan
