Amandine Sellier

Amandine Sellier was born in France and has been a journalist for 15 years prior to arriving in Mexico. In 2017, in the Mayan jungle of Tulum, after reconnecting with memories of abuse, she decides to settle here and start a journey of self knowledge and development of consciousness. Familiar with the moon cycle, she recollects tools from ancestral traditions of Mexico and other holistic practices to create a feminine cycle and shamanic agenda for Women (published in France in 2021 and republished in 2023). In her journey to discover the ancestral practices of Mexico she became part of a Moon Dance circle where she practiced the Aztec medicine wheel and calendar to integrate this work on an everyday basis. Passionate about traditional plant medicine and somatic practices she studies herbalism, chakra medicine, feminine alchemy in order to provide guidance to women in their path of transformation. Thanks to her brand Mama Hierbas she développed a line of medicinal plants infusions and tinctures to help people to support their will to connect with their bodies and heal naturally. After giving birth in 2019 she discovers the ancient practice of the vaginal vapor bath, known in the Indian world as the Yoni steam, a practice still common in 65 countries in the world and well practiced in the Mayan culture. The use of vapors of medicinal plants to heal the womb open a new way for Amandine to help women to reconnect to their true nature, to explore their shadow, to go through the postpartum process, reconnect with their femininity or clean energies of past experiences, make peace with oneself after abortion or find a natural way to heal ovarian cysts, dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea etc…

Combining somatic practices, shamanic techniques inherited from the Mayan Toltec way, and the use of traditional medicinal plants, Amandine offers a personal guidance of feminine alchemy to women on their process to reconnect with their femininity and empower themselves.
