About The Teacher

Ahmad entered the practice of Yoga as an athlete for its strength and flexibility benefits.  The many paths of Yoga lead him to be inspired by its spiritual and energetic teachings.  Years into his practice, he took an immersion to study with teachers at the School of Yoga Institute on the practice of Sadhana Yoga.

In Sanskrit, Sadhana Yoga is the yoga of spiritual practice. It is also a Tantric term meaning spiritual discipline, or the “path to Realization.” Even though it is derived from a number of different yoga traditions (Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha, Sivananda, Iyengar, and others), Sadhana Yoga is designed beyond forms and traditions; it focuses on the essence of yoga, as an instrument to reveal the truth of our existence, the spiritual being.

"Forever inspired by music, sound, and being in tune with the Self, to be in tune with the body, mind, emotions, and Spirit requires practice.  Dharma leads me to Yoga as a practice through gateways in the literal world.  I wish to learn and share this practice while leading by example.”
