Teaching Style: Comfortable approach and highly energetic while using functional, diverse, and effective training techniques.
Fayth has studied ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, improvisation, and composition at the University of North Carolina School of Arts and earned a BFA in dance. She also was a swimmer and competed nationally. While in college, Fayth began practicing Pilates for injury prevention and core strengthening. After college, she promptly packed the car and moved to LA. There she received a certificate in STOTT PILATES® at John Garey Pilates. She earned additional certificates including Pilates Academy International (PAI), Redcord® and Cardiolates®, eventually becoming an instructor trainer for PAI and for Silk Suspension.
Fayth is also a talented and esteemed choreographer and dancer. She premiered her first work, “In Human Form” at the Lincoln Center Institute. This kicked off her freelance dance career in both performance and choreography. Her experience includes music videos, dance theaters, festivals and ads. In 2010, she made Chicago her home, opening Sixpax and relocating her dance company here. She is currently pursuing an MFA in dance through Hollins University/American Dance Festival. Fayth is also a Partner of Bellicon® and trains their USA team weekly. She is also a Certified Pilates Teacher under the Pilates Method Alliance.
