Tamara stumbled across Hridaya by walking past the school in Mazunte, Mexico one day. Her heart had called her. She had been travelling, deepening & searching for “something more” whilst exploring around the world.
She completed the Hridaya Teacher Training in 2013 to deepen her own practice & to open her heart further, however she could not deny sharing the teachings of Hridaya & is now beginning to teach in her home land of Australia. She is also an Occupational Therapist working in the Australian Healthcare system. She is currently working with people with chronic diseases, oncology, palliative care and aged care. Her passion & understanding for holistic care in the hospital setting is now creating opportunities to utilise meditation, hatha yoga & pranayama to staff as well as patients. Tamara believes that the beauty of the heart is undeniable, and will continue to learn & share & live with an open heart.
