Beth Anne

About The Teacher

Beth Anne started her yoga journey as a yoga teacher in 2012. She focused on Iyenger Yoga at the Prairie Yoga School in Grand Rapids, Mi and has since then taken that knowledge and created her own flow of Hatha/Iyengar Yoga which she teaches all over Costa Rica.

Beth left her job in the corporate world in 2014 to search for the meaning in her life through travel and to focus on practicing and teaching yoga to others. She fell deeply in love with Punta Banco, Costa Rica and now calls her ocean bungalow home.

Since officially moving to Costa Rica, she has been coordinating yoga trips and surfing retreats all over Costa Rica. Her knowledge of the country, its' culture, and ocean is immense and is always available to you.

Beth Anne has compiled a list of certifications over the years such as: 200-Hour Certified Yoga Teacher, Certified Thai Bodywork Practitioner, Certified Aerial Yoga Teacher, Certified Reiki Practitioner, and Ordained Minister. She says that this is only the beginning of her hopefully very long list of certifications. Her thirst for knowledge and adventure takes her all over the world, allowing her to learn new energy healing methods and sharing her passion for yoga.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

My inspiration sparks from my innate charge to connect with a collective innate goodness. I aspire to live in a way that continuously blossoms and embraces my wise and compassionate human nature. Freundl

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
