Hallie Caplan

Big Idea was born from Hallie’s experience in the classroom teaching a design thinking capstone for grade 12 students and leading her school’s service learning program. She has also worked as a community organizer for a variety of political causes. Hallie is a multi-passionate educator and problem-solver. Her curiosity drives her to constantly learn and ask questions. The excitement of engaging in the design thinking process and watching people dive into solving problems that previously seemed impossible drives her work. Hallie holds a BA in Political Science, a Masters in Education from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Masters in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management from New York University.
