Nicole Perkins

About The Teacher

Nicole has been practicing Hatha yoga since 1996 and teaching since 2001. She draws from many styles to lead classes that are slow, deep and appropriately intense. Strongly influenced by the Buddhist practices of Vipassana (insight) and Meta (loving-kindness) meditation, Nicole encourages students to practice with compassionate awareness and to explore the many layers of our human nature. Nicole continues to study yoga with Jason Crandall and meditation with Jennifer Welwood. She has completed teacher trainings with Sarah Powers, Erich Shiffman and Judith Lasater.

Why Retreat?
