About us

Kimberly Paul’s yoga roots are planted in the Vinyasa and Iyengar traditions. Her first true yoga experience was a 6 month in-residence program at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in 1997. Graduating from the Spiritual Lifestyle residential program with certifications in Hatha yoga,yogic philosophies. In 1999, she went on to receive additional certifications in Kali Ray TriYoga® Santa Cruz California and Integrative Yoga Therapy with Joseph La Paige at Mount Madonna Center. She is trained in Tripsichore Yoga under the tutelage of creator Edward Clark since 2001, and participated in Forest Yoga advanced studies with Ana Forest in 2003. She continues to study with  renowned Senior Iyenga Teacher Kofi Busia. She has over 5,000 hours of advanced study and has traveledextensively, teaching yoga in the US, Mexico and Europe for the last 18  years. She has developed a singular style that draws from the many senior teachers with whom she has studied. Emphasizing breath, bandhas and alignment, her classes are a creatively flowing, invigorating exploration of asana. When not on her mat, this self trained natural foods chef, is in her kitchen preparing nourishing meals for private clients and specialty events. She also writes and speaks about the delights…

Why Retreat?

This sounds like a dream! I am an education student and I have spent way too much time working all summer to pay for school. My boyfriend of 5 years is a government firefighter and has been away working most of the summer. His 30th Birthday and our 6th anniversary is coming up this winter, we would love to celebrate with a yoga retreat! We both love yoga but have barley had time to practice in the past few months.
