About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Katerina-Sophia Mavridou was born and raised in Athens, though her family's origins are from Tinos. In 2013 she was sponsored by Billabong and in 2017 got qualified as surf instructor by the ISA (Int. Surf Assoc.) of South Africa. She first started teaching surf at the South Coast of KZN South Africa. After moving back to Greece, Tinos was the only option for her: clear waters, empty lineups, and beautiful scenic sunsets.
