About The Teacher

Kobi is a yoga and meditation practitioner and teacher, a nutritional and holistic health counselor and a life coach at Vagabond Temple.

Kobi is a yoga and meditation practitioner and teacher, a nutritional and holistic health counsellor and life coach. Kobi was born in Israel in 1981 and has a degree in Comparative Religion (Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism and Western Philosophy) from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He has also studied with Jewish mystics in various Kabala Centres throughout Israel.

A life long student, Kobi has trained with great yoga masters around the world—mostly in India, Thailand and Israel. He has extensive experience and education in varying styles of yoga including Ashtanga Vinyasa, Kundalini, Hatha, Yin and Iyengar. He also studied Thai Yoga Massage at Wat Po in Thailand. Having a great passion for health and nutrition, he continued studying various nutrition-based healing methods including—raw food, ayurveda, integrated nutrition and a natural hygiene nutrition method which are all incorporated in Vagabond Temple’s detox programs.

As both a life coach and social worker, Kobi has helped people of all ages and nationalities make critical changes in their behaviour and outlook including at-risk teenagers, people suffering from mental illness and addictions. He focues on self-empowerment, building life skills, and rehabilitation to enable changes in others. At Vagabond Temple, Kobi uses his extensive theoretical knowledge complemented with years of practical experience in gently guiding people on their path to self-realization.
