Maddie started her fitness journey in 2007 during her attendance at The Florida State University. While she earned her degree in risk management/insurance, she also began taking yoga, spinning and group exercise classes on a regular basis. She became a certified spinning instructor in 2010, which started her teaching journey and ignited her passion for health and fitness. After realizing how much she enjoys sharing her active lifestyle with friends and family, Maddie enrolled in Urban Bliss School of Yoga and became a registered yoga teacher (RYT200) in 2014. Her style of yoga can best be described as power vinyasa – classes combine traditional yoga flow with modern fitness movements designed to tone & sculpt. Her goal is to keep you mindfully engaged both physically and mentally so that you can take what you learn off the mat and into your daily life. She truly enjoys working with and helping others, both in and out of the yoga studio. She plans to continue her education in yoga and eventually make wellness a full-time career. When she’s not teaching, she enjoys weight lifting, dining out, and traveling the globe!
