About the Teacher

Why study with them?

Nicholaus brings with him extensive leadership experience in behavioral healthcare. He earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University, followed by a graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University. Since then, he has served in three consecutive Clinical Director roles, making this his fourth consecutive post as a Clinical Director. Each of these experiences has given him valuable perspective on leading clinicians in their work, across all levels of care.

Nicholaus lives in the Redlands area with his wife, Katharine, and their five children, ages 12 months to 13 years.

"Professionally, my passion lies in providing clarity in leadership, creating structure, and facilitating an environment where clinicians can thrive in their calling to help clients heal and achieve their goals. In stepping into this role at TCTI, my commitment is to help build a supportive environment where each of you feels empowered and equipped to do the work you love.
