Sadashiv (Dr. Nick Bradley)

About The Teacher

SadaShiv meaning “always well-being” was the name given to Nick by Yogrishi Vishvketu. Shiva is the powerful god of destruction, a destruction that is required so that rebirth can take place. Nick has studied and taught yoga for many years. His passion for the kriyas (yogic cleansing techniques) led him to Yogrishi Vishvketu. Nick is one of the few western yogis who has a regular vastra-dhauti practice – the swallowing of 21 feet of cloth in order to clean the stomach and then retrieving the cloth. Whilst students will not be required to partake in this practice at teacher trainings, he is willing to demonstrate and give the brave a few pointers. Nick has studied with Pattabhi Jois in Mysore, Eilleen Hall in Sydney, Simon Borg-Olivier, Kevin Farrow of acu-energetics and finally his guru, Yogrishi Vishvketu.

Nick co-founded Shiva Shakti Yoga in Byron Bay teaching Akhanda Yoga. Shiva Shakti Yoga is now an affiliate school of Akhanda Yoga and Nick has created Akhanda Yoga Australia. He has also studied the kriyas and Shatkarmas extensively with Yogrishi Vishvketu hence earning him the name Yogi Sadashiv.

Dr. Nick Bradley is a registered Osteopath who works on the Gold Coast of Australia.
