Jon Unal is a registered counsellor and mindfulness educator, who is passionate about consciousness and helping others to discover meaningful ways to live. He works with clients struggling with stress, anxiety, trauma, depression, mental illness and self-esteem issues.
He has been practising meditation and mindfulness for over 10 years and it became an essential part of his daily life. Mindfulness helps him to live in the moment and be fully present with people he works with.
He currently lives in Brisbane and leads group and corporate mindfulness workshops and retreats in addition to his psychotherapy private practice – Conscious Beginnings (www.consciousbeginnings.com.au).
Conscious Beginnings offers a supportive care and understanding that empowers you to get clarity and meaning in life.
Our Conscious Change is an eight-week (2 hour sessions with daily practice) group program limited to 12 participants. It involves attention training practices, cognitive change strategies and hands-on mindfulness exercises/meditations that teaches participants how to live in the present moment and not dwell in the past or worry about the future.
