About the Teacher
Why study with them?
I studied music since early age at a national conservatory, learning the performance of many instruments and the language of the sound through theory and singing of scales.
I studied Anthropology at the Central University of Venezuela and got connected with Indigenous Traditional Medicines from the Amazon and the ceremonies of Yage about 11 years ago.
For me music has become a great healing instrument to share and support people in the healing process of their heart and spirit, to relieve mind and body. I have developed my studies of sound therapy accompanying therapists and healers of many currents and methods like Gestalt Psychotherapy, Bioenergetics, Biodance, NLP, Yoga, Reiki, Mindfulness, Coaching and others.
The yage has awaken my voice and invited me to share it with my heart. I am an interpreter and compositor, I play the guitar, charango and Andean flutes of different parts of the world. I travel every year to various regions of the Amazon jungle and the countries that makes it up, but above all I visit the low region of Putumayo at the South of Colombia to learn with the Yage what my teachers, indigenous Cofanes have let me get to know.
