Jamie Testa E-RYT
Jamie discovered yoga while a student at UC Davis. After her first hot yoga class she knew the practice would be part of her life-long journey. At the time, Jamie was reliant on 3+ visits a week to the chiropractor to stave off debilitating headaches that were lingering from multiple car accidents. After several months of consistent practice the headaches were nearly gone. She wanted to start giving back by teaching and graduated from Bikram’s Teacher Training in Spring 2006. Jamie also attended a comprehensive 500-hour Yoga Alliance yoga teacher-training program, trained to teach Yin yoga and Hot Pilates. Jamie taught for 4 years before opening Akasha yoga studio in Vacaville, CA, in 2010 and in 2012 joined forces with a long-time friend and fellow yogini to open a second Akasha studio in Davis.Source: casaom.secure.retreat.guru

“Breath is the bridge which connects life to consciousness, which unites your body to your thoughts. Whenever your mind becomes scattered, use your breath as the means to take hold of your mind again.” Thich Naht Hanh
